Body Oriented

Each one of us is organized into a unique whole which includes our behaviors, feelings, memories, points of view and the unconscious aspects of ourselves, all of which impact our life experience. The body, with its access to sensations and memories, is an invaluable tool, a doorway, that allows us to examine and understand these areas of our self-organization, right now in our present experience.

Hakomi utilizes mindfulness with body-oriented tools so this personal material becomes visible and available for us to experience.

With this increased body awareness and Hakomi therapeutic methods, we deepen our self-understanding, open to new ways of experiencing and have the opportunity for healing and change.
